HISTORY
Vaksindo Satwa Nusantara was established in 1982 as the first privately owned animal vaccine manufacturer in Indonesia. Prior to its establishment, Vaksindo trained nine Indonesian veterinarians in Japan for special education in various animal vaccine manufacturing techniques, quality control and the process of establishing and operating a Specific Pathogen Free (SPF) chicken farm. Vaksindo also manufactures pharmaceutical products to complete its contribution to the country's livestock industry.

QUALITY ASSURANCE
Vaksindo has successfully built an SPF chicken farm that meet international standards to enable it to produce vaccines that can pass the most stringent quality control standards. The farm has a pathogenic free environment and a constant air flow system. the SPF eggs are used as the main ingredient in assuring high quality vaccines. Quality control tests are likewise conducted on test animals to maintain a high potency standard. Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) are applied throughout the production and SPF farm facilities by constantly conducting evaluation and audit.

To improve quality and quantity Research & Development Department conduct on going research for vaccines and pharmaceuticals.

PRODUCT RANGE
To support the country's and international livestock industry, Vaksindo has an extensive range of products:
- Live and killed vaccines for poultry, large animals and tissue culture derived Rabies vaccine for pet animals.
- Antigen for Pullorum testing
- Various pharmaceuticals consisting of Vitamin mixtures, antibiotics, chemotherapeutics, disinfectants and herbal feed additives.

MARKETING & DISTRIBUTION
Vaksindo has developed an extensive nationwide marketing and distribution network to enable it to sell its products to the whole country.

The operation is supported bt a field force of trained Veterinarians to provide quality assurance and comprehensive product information.
